Shopify Launch for “Nordwood Home”

After moving Nordwood Home from Wix to a fully optimised Shopify store, we completed the entire development cycle in just 14 days, increased their conversion rate by 38% in the first month, boosted the average order value by 14%, and made the site load four times faster. Performance scores jumped to 92 on desktop and 87 on mobile, abandoned cart automation recovered 11% of lost orders, and the brand completely eliminated manual order handling thanks to full workflow automation.

How we transformed a small home–decor brand into a scalable ecommerce business

When Emma Lewis, the founder of Nordwood Home, contacted us, her brand was already growing rapidly on Instagram — but the website kept breaking their sales flow. During a free consultation, we conducted a quick audit of their existing Wix store and immediately uncovered several issues holding the business back.
The site suffered from slow loading speeds, an unstructured product catalog, fully manual order handling, and a weak mobile experience. More than 60% of visitors came from mobile devices, yet the mobile UX was fragmented and confusing. This directly impacted conversions. On top of that, Nordwood Home had no abandoned cart recovery system — resulting in nearly 84% of potential orders being lost every day.
We proposed a full migration to Shopify with a complete rebuild of the store structure. Our plan included creating a lightweight custom theme, designing a logical SEO-friendly catalog, optimising mobile performance, implementing order automation, and launching abandoned cart flows. This allowed us to address several major challenges at once — increase performance, reduce operational workload, and improve conversions.
The entire process took 14 days: product analysis, theme development, speed optimisation, Shopify Flow automation, email sequence setup, and final testing. Our goal was not just to build another website, but to give Nordwood Home a stable, scalable digital foundation.
Results became visible within the first month after launch.
The site’s loading speed improved from 39 to 87 on mobile and from 52 to 92 on desktop. Page load time decreased fourfold. Conversion rate increased by 38%, and average order value grew by 14%. Thanks to automation, Emma no longer spent 2–3 hours per day manually sending orders to suppliers. The abandoned cart system recovered 11% of lost orders — a meaningful boost on top of the overall improvement.
For Nordwood Home, this became a turning point.
We helped the brand transition from a chaotic, manual online presence to a fast, stable, and predictable ecommerce system that now enables them to scale with confidence.
